Comment contourner l'erreur Mount error(12): Cannot allocate memory

Si vous essayez de monter, sur une machine Linux, un partage réseau d'une machine sous Windows, vous pourriez rencontrer le problème suivant:

Mount error(12): Cannot allocate memory

avec ceci dans votre fichier de log:

Event ID: 2017
Level: Error
The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the server reached the configured limit for nonpaged pool allocations.

Pour le contourner, rien de plus simple. Sur la machine Windows, vous devez éditer deux clefs du registre:

HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory ManagementLargeSystemCache

et

HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesLanmanServerParametersSize

Pour la première, vous devez lui mettre 1 pour valeur, et pour la seconde: 3.

Pour finir, redemarrez votre machine et retentez de faire le montage.
